6 week training

Every Apprentice goes through our 6 week training program.

They begin their journey learning the programs used in the 24 month apprenticeship, and the industries they will be working in.

This is home based, but we also have a classroom in Salado, Tx. that you are welcome to come to on-site for the weeks of training on-site, or you can watch from home.

You will need to complete all three forms below, including the application and return to the email address located on the bottom of the form.

To start the Licensed Unmanned Vehicle Pilot program you must first apply by completing an online application.

If you are a non-Veteran there is a $30.00 application fee.

Supporting documentation will be required in order to complete your enrollment Original documents must be verified in order to start the program.
YOU MUST BE AT LEAST 17 YEARS OLD TO APPLY & 18 YEARS OF AGE TO PARTICIPATE IF SELECTED.
The primary documents needed to verify the minimum requirements are, but are not limited to:

1. A VALID driver’s license
2. A certified copy of your birth certificate
3. An official copy of your high school transcript, showing successful completion of Algebra I and High School Graduation
4. Certificate or Diploma showing GED or Equivalency 
5. Form DD214 (military veterans only)
6. $30.00 application fee payable online (non veterans only)
7.  Background check (see below)

Return the Application, USDOL Registration Form, Disability Form and your Handbook Acknowledgement.

Your signature can be digital on your application, but you will need to add "Digitally Signed and your initials" if typing your signature on the application.

Download the application, save to your device as "APPLICATION LAST NAME_FIRST NAME and return by email with the subject line: APPLICATION_FIRST NAME_LAST NAME


Step 3:
Once you choose a path. 

Once you choose a path you will schedule your 30 minute live interview (google meet/zoom) 

Click on the link below to schedule your google meeting/introduction.

You will receive an automated email with the forms we will require for the USDOL apprenticeship program.  

Please read the email for complete instructions, be sure on the date/time of your interview you are able to have a camera with a clean background.  


Step 4:
Once you have been accepted into the LUV apprenticeship, you will start a 6 week  live/hybrid online training program.

The six weeks prepares you for a new career.
Training is hybrid live/online
and classroom locations, if available near your location.

*Some apprentices attend 2 or 3 weeks of training, based on workforce/scholarship funding availability in your area, scholarships available, etc. 

Step 5:
Background Check

We require a background check for all apprentices.

Your background check is completed on your own and not included in the tuition/registration fees.

The cost of this service is $9.95 plus a $31.50 fee for the State and National Criminal History Record

Veteran Scholarships


Payment plans.

If you do not receiving a scholarship, there are payment plan options.

The link below is for the payment plan of $5000 first payment, and monthly voluntary payroll deduction over 24 months.

You will need to pay the $5000 prior to entering the 6 weeks training if you are not receiving a scholarship or other funding.
